Cracking chibley, Gromit

One of my very first purchases for Enceladus was a new chimney (but I love to say ‘chibley’) for the back cabin. The previous one hadn’t been cared for particularly so I asked ‘Mr Dove’ Andrew Hoyle to make a new one for me. Fortunately, we were coming to the end of the cruising season in 2015 so Andrew was taking orders and getting set up to make lots of people’s chimney dreams come true that winter.

Version 2 img_2980Invariably he posts a picture of his season’s output and expectant customers pile in hardly able to contain their enthusiasm going ‘Oooh, is that mine second from the left’? I picked up a  titch from Andrew the other day and made a point of telling him how much pleasure his handiwork gives me every single time I put it on and how much pride I take in making sure it looks the business. He’s a very talented chap and also a real gent.

Lifted naughtily from Andrew's Facebook site - forgive me but I wanted to illustrate how good he is!
